BeAnotherLab premieres the Autonomous BodySwap installation within the renewed “Mindscapes” exhibition at the Technorama Swiss Science Center in Winterthur (Switzerland). Mindscapes is part of the permanent sections of the museum, and it’s open to the public again from October 2, 2020.
Technorama is an interactive science museum that allows hands-on experiences of hundreds of natural phenomena and technology. At countless experiment stations visitors can discover natural phenomena first-hand and with all the senses. Unlike other museums, everything in Technorama can be touched, played and experimented with hands on.
Unlike previous TMTBA Body Swap installations, this new version works fully automated, without the need for assistants to accompany the user experience. The performative element of the BodySwap experience is executed automatically by the machine itself, so that it can be installed permanently in a wide variety of venues.
The Autonomous BodySwap has been a long-term project that we are happy to finally share with the public. So if you have the chance to visit Technorama, please do not hesitate try the experience and get in touch with us. We will really appreciate any kind of feedback from users that help us to keep improving the system.
BeAnotherLab wants to especially thank the entire Technorama team, and particularly Christoph Ehrensberger, Herhard Frei and Armin Duff for their involvement and support during the development of this project.
