[nectar_dropcap color=””]S[/nectar_dropcap]econd workshop on the production of embodied storytelling with The Machine to be Another. Over three days, participants will be able to experience some of the different formats of design, interaction and creation in VR.
Aimed at: students, artists, audiovisual directors, programmers, engineers, designers and related areas and others interested in having a first encounter with RV technology and 360º video production.
They will learn how to create experiences of Embodied Virtual Reality (VR in first person, with body interaction) and participate in a practical co-creating one or two new 360 immersive video pieces for VR, with body interaction, which will be displayed at the end of the workshop.
BeAnotherLab researchers will guide the process and provide material needed for production.
Create a first person EVR experience
Learn to use a 360 camera to record your first person story, and implement it with the Machine to be Another system.
Day 1: May 10 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Introduction to the projects: The Machine to be Another and the Library of Ourselves. Test of different versions of the system. Brainstorming of immersive experiences. How to record and post-production for 360 video.
Preproduction 1: ideation, argument, interaction prototype and production plan.
Day 2: May 11 from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm
Morning:
Preproduction 2: ideation, argument, prototype of interaction. Filming.
Afternoon:
Filming. Review of material and start of editing.
Day 3: May 12 from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm
Morning:
Final video editing and testing.
Afternoon:
Presentation of the result of the work open to the public, with final discussion.
