[nectar_dropcap color=””]V[/nectar_dropcap]irtual Visualization of Real Emotions (VVER) is a collaborative and educational project of art and virtual reality that investigates the emotional impact of isolation, especially in young people, with the aim of facing the effects of the health crisis experienced during 2020.

Winner of the Ciutat de Barcelona 2020 Awards, this project led by the Espronceda Institute of Arts and Culture proposes a collaboration between different entities of the Navas neighborhood in Barcelona with the aim of offering young people an attractive and useful community art project.

[nectar_dropcap color=””]T[/nectar_dropcap]he project includes different workshops that incorporate sessions of raising awareness about the importance of mental health with an emphasis on emotions, as well as a more theoretical part with examples about interactive art and virtual reality.

Design thinking sessions will be used to boost the capacity of the people involved to be creative. At the same time, through a participatory educational itinerary, the participants will learn some bases on audiovisual and virtual reality techniques to encourage artistic works that are capable of express, through creative images, the emotional state of young people involved in the project.
